Today is the first day of Black History Month.  This is the perfect time of the year to learn some facts about what some of the great people in our past have done to make the world better.  Not just people we have already read about like Martin Luther King or Malcolm X.  Yes these were great people and they have done a lot for our country, but I am talking about people like Lewis Latimore or Sarah Boone.  Take a moment and read about a few of the Black Inventors that helped make every day chores easier.
